As Bill and Ted might point out, strange things are afoot at the Circle K. All right, not strange so much as every day things. Still, with a particularly interesting sky contrasted with all the light from the gas pumps and parking lot, I felt this photo needed to be made.
Sometimes something as mundane looking (here in the Desert Southwest) as a sage bush can make for an interesting composition, especially with a perfectly clear blue sky and a couple of stray palm trees in the background.
Tree agate is naturally green and white which, surprisingly, translates quite well to black and white.
This cabochon and many of the accompanying beads later went to to make up a pretty necklace and set of earrings. In full color, of course.
